
Jenson Button took yet another Grand Prix victory in the principality of Monaco today, to make it 5 wins out of 6. Once again finishing behind Button was his Brawn GP team-mate Ruben Barrichello.
Ferrari took their first podium of the season with Kimi Raikkonen 3rd, and his team-mate Felipe Massa finished 4th.
Mark Webber finished 5th in the Red Bull. Nico Rosberg drove to 6th in his Williams. Renault’s Fernando Alonso finished 7th and Sebastien Bourdais 8th for Torro Rosso rounded off the points paying positions.
Giancarlo Fisichella just missed out on getting Force India’s first ever point after a superb drive from the Italian.
Timo Glock, Nick Heidfeld, Lewis Hamilton, Jarno Trulli – Names we expect to be at the top in recent times – as recent as Bahrain where the Toyota’s took the spots on the front row! – were all lapped, and Adrian Sutil and Kazuki Nakajima rounded off the finishers.
Kovalainen, Vettel, Piquet and Buemi all went out having had accidents and Kubica went out with a brake problem.
