American Tyler Farrar of team Garmin-Slipstream has won the 2009 Vattenfall Cyclassics in Hamburg, meaning that every edition of the race, since the start 13 years ago has been won by a different rider.
There was many attacks on the day but none could survive, meaning that the race ended in a bunch sprint. Finishing second was Saxo Bank’s Matti Breschel and third was Gerald Ciolek.
